good on a lead and has no
ongoing health issues.

| Kora
is a very sweet-natured girl, who loves
to be around her people and will never
pass up an opportunity to have some fun
& games - stealing clothes when
you're trying to get dressed for work,
then being chased around the house to
get them back is great fun in her eyes! Kora's
hobbies include playing with her chew
toys, fetch, tug, going for long
walks and rolling in wet grass. She has
been in a foster home with young
children (10yrs) and has learned how to
play nicely with them, and she loves to
meet other dogs out on walks - she
does however still need to learn that
she is a big heavy girl and she needs to
be a little more gentle.
Kora doesn't hear much, if at all, but
she understands hand signals for things
like "no", "good
girl" and "I'm watching
you!". Kora would do well
with an active family and a large
yard. She is happy to sleep and
spend day-time in her room, and will use
the doggy-door if she needs to go
outside.

Betty is a
super sweet lady who should be
sleeping on the couch, not found
wandering and lost. Betty
is very good with all people and
other friendly dogs. She
is wonderful with the kids in
her current foster home and
loves to wash their faces with
big wet kisses, especially when
they squeal with laughter!
She is not too keen on cats, so
she would need a no kitty home.
Betty can usually be found in
her crate, on the couch or
sunbathing by the window.
She is extremely well behaved
and laid back, very gentle,
undemanding and simply wants to
be loved! She asks for
nothing more than the occasional
game with the hose-pipe and a
potter round the yard.
She is in
good health, has been spayed and
is up to date on all her shots.
Betty will make the perfect
addition to a family who needs a
faithful snuggling companion.

Rita was
desperately trying to get into
an office building here in
Houston. She knew she
needed help so she searched out
some kind souls who were good
enough to get her to us.
She is a lovely red girl,
probably just over one year old
and she is heart worm negative.
Rita is currently being treated
for mange and responding well.
She will be absolutely beautiful
on the outside (as she already
is on the inside!) once her
treatment is finished.
Rita loves to play with her toys
and go for walks. She is
learning the joy of belly-rubs
on the couch in her foster home.
She is great with kids and will
sit nicely and wait for treats.
She will grow to be an awesome
bully and a great family member.
